RANA ABDELHAMID
Rana Abdelhamid is a Black belt in karate, a daughter of Egyptian working-class immigrants, and a proud daughter of Astoria, Queens, where she was born, raised, and continues to organize. Known by many in her community as the “Mayor of Queens,” Rana has spent her life fighting for the safety, dignity, and power of women, survivors, and working-class people across New York City and beyond.
